About Carlin Isles
Born November 21, 1989, Carlin is under contract with the USA sevens team. He’s know as the fastest rugby player in the world.
An accomplished American football and Track and Field athlete, he went to Jackson High School in Massillon, Ohio. Isles holds the school records in the long jump, 100 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter events at the school and was a member of the record holding 4 x 200m relay team. His 2007 100m time was 10.58 seconds which was a county record that year.
Before switching to rugby in 2012, Isles was the 36th fastest sprinter in the USA with a 100 metres personal best of 10.24 seconds (outdoor).
